Job description : Legal & Compliance Analyst
Qualifications & Experience:

Degree in Law or another relevant field.

Prior experience in a legal or compliance role is advantageous but not mandatory.

Professional certification in Data Protection or relevant coursework will be an added advantage.

A valid driving license is required as the role involves commuting to meetings and/or audits across the difference business units of the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting Legal and Compliance Officer:
- Support the preparation and review of legal documents, contracts, and policies.
- Assist in responding to legal queries and liaising with the Corporate Legal Counsel.
- Track and monitor ongoing legal matters or compliance projects.

Compliance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Conduct compliance audits under the direction of the ‘Legal and Compliance Officer’.
- Monitor changes in regulations and laws, ensuring that the Legal and Compliance Department is updated on relevant developments.
- Assist in preparing reports for management and regulatory authorities.

Policy and Procedure Management:
- Maintain and update compliance-related policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and storage of legal and compliance materials

Risk Identification and Mitigation:
- Assist in identifying and documenting legal and compliance risks.
- Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and controls.

Training and Communication:
- Coordinate employee training sessions on compliance and legal topics.
- Assist in promoting awareness of ethical standards and regulatory obligations.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain records, databases, and correspondence related to legal and compliance matters.
- Schedule meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items.
