Job description : Storekeeper
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible and accountable for daily stock movements in and out of the store.
- Track, reconcile, and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
- Verify that correct products and quantities are checked and dispatched according to sales documents (e.g. invoices, delivery notes).
- Receive incoming goods and confirm accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare goods for daily deliveries in line with organizational requirements.
- Maintain good knowledge of all products, including codes, specifications, and details.
- Ensure accurate inventory records using computerized systems and/or manual logs.
- Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Keep storage areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
- Store materials safely in designated locations for easy access and proper organisation.
Requirements:
- Responsible, reliable, and well organised.
- Proven experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
