Job description : Storekeeper

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible and accountable for daily stock movements in and out of the store.
  • Track, reconcile, and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions.
  • Verify that correct products and quantities are checked and dispatched according to sales documents (e.g. invoices, delivery notes).
  • Receive incoming goods and confirm accuracy against purchase orders and packing lists.
  • Prepare goods for daily deliveries in line with organizational requirements.
  • Maintain good knowledge of all products, including codes, specifications, and details.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records using computerized systems and/or manual logs.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Keep storage areas clean, tidy, and well organised.
  • Store materials safely in designated locations for easy access and proper organisation.

 

Requirements:

  • Responsible, reliable, and well organised.
  • Proven experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
