Water Research, created in 1960, was the pioneer and the major contributor to the development and growth of hydrogeological and geotechnical investigations in Mauritius.  

Water Research involvement in the exploitation of groundwater includes drilling and developing new boreholes and rehabilitating, servicing and monitoring wells already in exploitation for optimal performance.  The company undertakes onshore and offshore geotechnical investigations to support the design and construction of infrastructure and also carries out works in the field of grouting, anchoring and micro-piling.  Water Research’s unique engineering team understand the challenges and particularities of working on weathered volcanic environments.
